FENESTRATION BAU China 2017 in Shanghai
FENESTRATION BAU China 2017 in Shanghai
The inaugural Fenestration Bau China (FBC) celebrated a successful close on November 10, 2017.
Fenestration Bau China (referred to as “FBC”), is a joint event between Fenestration China (Asian top Window, Door and Curtain Wall Industry Exhibition) and BAU from Germany (World’s largest exhibition of building and building material). It is an annual event that takes place at Beijing and Shanghai city every alternate year.
At this year’s event, we took an innovative approach to showcase an on-site processing and production line within a 168 square meters exhibition space. The purpose is to walk our visitors though a simulation of doors and windows production process on-site.
The exhibition booth was divided into a few functional areas.
Area 1 – Software connecting with Machine Demo
Begin with the workstation, itgenerates2 files from the system house software.
· one cutting list for the Double Mitre Saw (imported directly from the workstation or by a USB) which consist of all the profile’s cutting details such as length, color, angle, customer details, order &others;
· one encrypted data file for the CNC on the next production process after the profile was being cut to required length by the DMS.
During the demonstration, the Double Mitre Saw(DMS) which was connected to a bar code printer automatically prints out a label containing the profile cutting information once the profile was being cut. The cut profile was then transferred manually to the next process, machining centre (which was connected with a bar code reader) whereby milling, drilling and notching was being carried out. The bar code reader on this machine read the label sticked on the cut profile to retrieve the pre-programed information (generated automatically from the workstation’s software) to produce the end product.
For this demonstration, AME-Pressta partners with several renowned systems and software companies to showcase our equipment’s capability to connect with a variety of software to benefit our customers in term of productivity improvement.
Area 2 – Crimping and Assembly
It shows AME’s patented corner crimping technology with the unique features as follows: –
· A new crimper for big sized aluminium profiles
· 2 universal and adjustable punching units allow a work range of the crimping point from 25 to 60 mm from the vertex of the profile
Area 3 – Specialized Processing Solution
· End Milling Machine
· Rounded Glass Stop Milling Machine
· Bench Punching Machine for connection bar
· Bending Machine for Curved Arc process and customized processing equipment
Area 4 – Window Sample Display
Display high-end window samples designed and developed by AME’s partners
Beside the mechanical display, we made the production line complete by adding the transport trolleys and assembly units to demonstrate a simple digitalized production line.
With this milestone, AME will continue to progress with close observations on the Asian market’s needs and use our experience resources to integrate the European and American advanced processing technology dedicated to the production systems to facilitate a more effective and quality services to the aluminium industry.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all our software partners, Klaes and Jopps, system partners, Roto, LPSK, EOSS, Baerdick, Lonkee, Famien and our customers for making this event possible by bringing the production process to our stakeholders.
